Number of working group pages increased to 10

from Version 2007r1n00
Module GUI

In the [Password definitions] now 10 working group pages can be configured for the command overview. Up to now the maximum number was 5.

New icon for DV1 fields

from Version 2007r1n00
Module GUI

The following new icons can be used in the fields of the type DVZ1/DVS1 with "icon:<name>":

   Name              Image
------- -----
media_play_blue blue triangle pointing to the right
media_play_blue green triangle pointing to the right

NOTE

All available icons can be displayed using "wineks -showicons".

Semi-colon in single-line input fields

from Version 2007r1n00
Module GUI

Up to now it was not possible to enter a semi-colon in a single-line input field in the screen. Instead a semi-colon was replaced by a blank when the entry was made. Entering a semi-colon is now permitted.

There has been no change in the behavior of multi-line fields. Entering a semi-colon inserts a line break.

Tool tip in a tree view can have several lines

from Version 2007r1n00
Module GUI

The tool tips in the tree view can have several lines. Similarly to tool tips in diagrams you must also allocate the tool tip with a text which contains a semi-colon (;).

Improved display in the tree view

from Version 2007r1n00
Module GUI

If a node is opened or closed in the tree view, up to now this led to scrolling in the tree view, i.e. a different element is displayed right at the top.
Now after opening and closing a node the same element is displayed right at the top.

Selection button deleted for write-protected fields

from Version 2007r1n00
Module GUI

In enumeration fields, image and file references now a selection button is no longer displayed if these fields are always write-protected.

Therefore useless table columns with permanently write-protected selection buttons in infosystems have disappeared.

In the case of reference fields the selection buttons will remain so that these will also continue to be recognized as reference fields.

New login window in the GUI

from Version 2007r1n00
Module GUI

The log in window of the GUI has been modernized.

The fields "Application server", "Port" and "Client" (release directory) only accessible for administrators have been placed into a separate information dialog. This can be opened using the menu command [Info about client] or using the key combination <Alt>+<Return> in the client selection field.

View HTML page within the command overview

from Version 2007r1n01
Module GUI

In the command overview a HTML page can be displayed on the right beside the user-, working group- and standard commands. This makes it possible to integrate the portal into the command overview, for example.

In the password record of the company master files a URL, which is displayed when starting the GUI in the command overview, can be recorded per user. Furthermore, it is possible to configure a user name and a password which are provided when the URL is opened.

Displaying an HTML page is currently not implemented in the Linux GUI. Internet Explorer 7 must be installed on a Windows PC.

Symbol bar using table

from Version 2007r1n02, 2007r1n01
Module GUI

A symbol bar is now displayed using the table. It contains buttons to insert and delete a row, to call a row-related infosystem and to print a row.

Furthermore, it contains a button for each row-related global action (@Z in the screen description). These can be accessed through a mouseclick; up to now one had to first open the menu [Table] and then select the respective menu option.

Client of last successful login will be stored

from Version 2007r1n02
Module GUI

The GUI now remembers the selected client in the local GUI settings in the case of a successful login.

When the GUI is started again, this client is already set in the login window and must not be reselected.

This is helpful if there are several client sections in wineks.ini for a client, e.g. due to different paths in different locations for the win directory or if several records of color settings, so-called themes, are available for selection.

Operating system dependent settings in the wineks.ini

from Version 2007r1n02
Module GUI

With the aid of the variables "passwordProgram" and "passwordProgramArgs", for a client you can define which program is called by the GUI if the UNIX password has expired. (see also Online Help: Set-up file wineks.ini/Configuration of client)

In addition there are the operating system dependent variants "passwordProgram.<osKey>" and "passwordProgramArgs.<osKey>". The values of these variables override the values of the variables without operating system recognition in the specified systems.

Suggested values for <osKey> are:

 - WindowsVista
- WindowsXP
- Windows2000
- WindowsNT
- WindowsMe
- Windows98
- Windows95
- abas Wine 20041201-02

Client-specific design settings (themes)

from Version 2007r1n02
Module GUI

Up to now it was possible to change a row of color settings, also the background color of screens and symbol bars, specifically for the client in the respective section of the 'wineks.ini' file.

With Version 2007r1 there are now additional setting options for tables, separator lines and the calendar dialog.

These client-specific design settings can now be defined in the form of a theme, i.e. in separate sections. In doing this they are easily usable in several clients.

An entry is sufficient in the client section

 theme=<name>

If this entry is missing (e.g. after the upgrade), the standard GUI theme is used for this client.

The standard GUI theme is defined in the 'abasgui.cfg' file. The customer can define individual themes in the 'wineks.ini' file.

Using

 theme=none

the standard theme is deactivated and activates the colors which have been entered in the client section up to now, if necessary.

The name of the standard themes is also entered in the 'abasgui.cfg' file:

 [themes]
default=<name of standard theme>

This value can be overwritten by an identical entry in the 'wineks.ini' file. Using

 [themes]
default=none

the standard theme is deactivated.

Using the key

 forceTheme=1

in the theme section itself, or alternatively in the desired client section, you can force that the theme settings of the user cannot be deactivated in the GUI settings.

Both of the design suggestions from wineks.ini.vorl up to now are now in the 'abasgui.cfg' file as themes

 - abasERP.version2006_1
- abasERP.version2006_2

here.

The following example shows the standard theme of the abas ERP GUI and the possible color settings. These are mostly self-explanatory and are not explained here in detail.

  [themes]
default=abasERP.version2007_1

  [theme.abasERP.version2007_1]
;-------------------------------------------------------------------------
; Defaultcolours for abas-ERP Version 2007, variant 1
;-------------------------------------------------------------------------
;
colorDialog = 231,243,243
colorToolBar = 181,222,222
colorStatusLine = colorToolBar
colorChart = 245,250,250
;
colorGroupBar = 103,135,186
colorGroupBarText = white
colorGroupText = 0,69,214
colorGroupLine = 123,158,189
;
colorTable = colorChart
colorTableLabels = colorGroupBar
colorTableHeadings = colorGroupBar
colorTableLabelsText = colorGroupBarText
colorTableHeadingsText = colorGroupBarText
colorTableEvenRow = colorDialog
colorTableEvenRowReadOnly =
;
colorCalendar = white
colorCalendarTitle = colorGroupBar
colorCalendarTitleText = colorGroupBarText

Besides specifying the RGB color values it is also permitted to enter familiar color names:

 - color names have a resolution of up to 3 iteration levels
- predefined colors are additionally permitted, currently 'white' and 'black'

Support of displays with less color depth

In addition to the color entries listed in the example, also entries for displays with only 256 colors are supported, e.g. terminal servers. The respective color keys then have the add-on '256', e.g. 'colorDialog256'.

Additional theme settings logoName, logoURL and forceTheme

Besides the color settings, also the name of the logo and the URL then used can be defined in a theme.

The logo settings can be overwritten by identical entries in the client section. However, not in the case of

  forceTheme=1

Operating system dependent design settings

In special application cases the entries in a theme can additionally also be defined operating system dependent:

  <name>.<osKey> = <value>

The values of these entries override the values of the entries without operating system recognition in the specified systems.

Suggested values for <osKey> are:

 - WindowsVista
- WindowsXP
- Windows2000
- WindowsNT
- WindowsMe
- Windows98
- Windows95
- abas Wine 20041201-02

EXAMPLE

  logoName              = abaslogo.bmp
logoName.WindowsVista = abaslogo4vista.bmp
logoName.Windows2000 = abaslogo2k.bmp

Upgrade procedure
The GUI always uses the standard theme after the upgrade.

Client-specific color settings must be reactivated by deactivating the standard themes before the upgrade. This happens through the following entry in wineks.ini in the corresponding client section, as displayed above:

 theme=none

It makes more sense to store the color settings which have been made up to now in an individual theme, make the additional color settings there and then link this individual theme to one or several clients.

Table: Colored columns and rows headers, row numbers

from Version 2007r1n02
Module GUI

The background and text colors of column and row headers, and also the color of the free table range, can be set in the design settings (themes). The corresponding color keys are:

 - colorTable
- colorTableLabels
- colorTableHeadings
- colorTableLabelsText
- colorTableHeadingsText

The column and row headers in the standard are displayed flat and not as buttons as previously. The row headers in screens are now numbered.

All innovations and expansions can be deactivated in the GUI settings, if required. The corresponding options are:

 - "Use table/flat rows and column headers"
- "Use tables in screens/row numbers"
- "Use client-specific background color/in tables"
- "Use client-specific colors in tables/in table headers"
- "Use client-specific colors in tables/in column headers"

Separator line are represented as bars

from Version 2007r1n02
Module GUI

In the standard the separator lines in the GUI screens are displayed as a colored bar (similar to that displayed in a browser) with white text (bold).

All innovations and expansions can be deactivated in the GUI settings, if required. The corresponding options are:

 - "Displays fields/separator lines/as bars"

The background colors and the text color of separator lines in the bar display can be configured in the design settings (themes). The corresponding color keys are:

 - colorGroupBar
- colorGroupBarText

All colors and separator lines can be deactivated in the GUI settings, if required. The corresponding options are:

 - "Use client-specific colors/in separator lines"

Separator lines without text are also displayed as a line in the standard in the mode "Display separator lines as bars" for optical reasons, but wiht the height of "two pixels".

However, in order to get the full bar height in special cases, e.g. several separator lines next to oneanother, you can give the separator line an empty prompt text (blanks only) in the screen description.

EXAMPLE: === =====================

According to the screen description, in order to have a separator bar without text over the whole width of the screen, you have to make the separator line at least 1 character longer than the screen width.

Dialog "Options/Settings" reworked

from Version 2007r1n02
Module GUI

The dialog "Options/Settings" has a new page "Fields".

Besides the settings for the separator lines there are also the settings of the pages "Tree view" and "Diagrams".

Additionally, the setting "Display tool tips in reference fields" has been moved from the "General" page to the "Fields" page.

All settings on the "Fields" page are saved user-specifically in the client.

NOTE

The diagram and reference field settings were local settings made at the respective workstation up to now.

Calendar dialog for date fields

from Version 2007r1n02
Module GUI

Date fields in the GUI (GD, GD2, GD8, GW2 and GW8) now have a selection button.

A click on the button or an incorrect entry in the date field opens a selection dialog with the standard Windows calendar control element.

Only a month is displayed at the start. By increasing the size of the dialog window by pulling the screen or maximizing, you can have 12 months displayed next to oneanother.

Further infomation on the user interface of the Windows calendar:

   http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/shellcc/platform/commctls/monthcal/monthcal.asp

Color settings

The background color, the title background and title text color of the calendar dialog can be adjusted in the design settings (themes). The corresponding color keys are:

  • colorCalendar
  • colorCalendarTitle
  • colorCalendarTitleText

All calendar colors can be deactivated in the GUI settings, if required. The corresponding options are:

 "Use client-specific colors/in calendar lines"

Restrictions

 - Linux GUI
- the calendar always only displays one month, even if you
increase the size of the dialog window.
- the calendar does not support key combinations
- Windows Vista
- the calendar ignores the color settings
- the calendar ignores the screen font
- no calendar dialog in the operating languages Arabic and Persian
- Exception: Windows Vista
- the calendar control element until and including Windows XP only supports
the gregorian calendar
- the configuration of the calendar is in the file 'abasgui.cfg'

        [calendar]
unsupportedLanguages = ar fa
unsupportedLanguages.WindowsVista =

Graphics on selection, free text, partial screens and object selection buttons

from Version 2007r1n02
Module GUI

The selection buttons beside the reference fields, enumeration fields, file references and data fields now display a suitable symbol instead of the 3 dots '...' as was the case up to now. Through this the respective fields can be more easily differentiated.

With free text and user bar buttons it is recognizable by the graphic displayed if the text/the user bar already exists or not. The asterisk '*' is no longer displayed.

Further buttons with graphics are:

 - part screen buttons
- buttons of the type 'DVZ0'
- in the object selection:
- the button to display the search key
- the button to edit the dynamic selection

Key combinations of comboboxes and object history

from Version 2007r2n00
Module GUI

Combo boxes in the header of the GUI screens and especially the identity number field with the object history in the symbol bar are now fully operable using the keyboard.

Combo boxes can be expanded using the key combinations "F4", "Cursor down", "Alt + Cursor down" or "Alt + Cursor up".

You can close the combo boxes again using "F4", "Alt + Cursor down", "Alt + Cursor up", "Esc" or "Return".

To navigate around the expanded combo box you use the keys "Cursor up", "Cursor down", "Page up", "Page down", "Pos1", "End" and the first letter of the selection options.

In a closed combo box you can change the selection using the keys "Left" and "Right", and also with the first letter of the selection options. This does not apply in the identity number field!

Two additional standard themes (design settings)

from Version 2007r4n01, 2007r3n04, 2007r2n05
Module GUI

Besides the standard theme

 - abasERP.version2007_1

there are now two additional ones for selection in 'abasgui.cfg':

 - abasERP.version2007_2 (steel blue and white)
- abasERP.version2007_3 (sunflower yellow and grey)

TIP

You can make several entries with different design settings for a client in the file 'wineks.ini'.
You can make a user-specific design selection in the login window. The GUI remembers the corresponding client entry if the login was successful, so that a renewed selection is no longer necessary when logging in the next time.

EXAMPLE

 [wineks]
server=m_erp m_erp_2 m_erp_3

 [m_erp]
host=abas
useEKSd=1
server_windir=\\abas\win
text=Mandant erp (Standard)

 [m_erp_2]
theme=abasERP.version2007_2
host=abas
useEKSd=1
server_windir=\\abas\win
text=Mandant erp (steel blue and white)

 [m_erp_3]
theme=abasERP.version2007_3
host=abas
useEKSd=1
server_windir=\\abas\win
text=Mandant erp (sunflower yellow and grey)

Improvement of the automatic backup of user settings

from Version 2007r3n00
Module GUI

The GUI specific information, e.g. the last executed commands, is automatically saved in the [password definitions]. A message is outputted that the data record is occupied if another user changes the password data record whilst you are saving. In this case now nothing is saved in the password data record.

When the GUI is ended, the information is saved in the password data record. A message is outputted even if this is locked.

Symbol bar using the tree view

from Version 2007r3n00
Module GUI

A symbol bar is now displayed using the tree view. It contains symbols to call a line-related infosystem and to print a line. Furthermore, it contains a button for each row-related global action (@Z in the screen description). These actions can be reached through a mouseclick. Up to now you had to initially open the menu [tree view] and then select the respective menu option.

Search in command overview also searches in command if required

from Version 2007r3n00
Module GUI

Upgrade procedure
The search dialog in the command overview ("Search for command") has been expanded by a check field "Also search in command".

Therefore, the search can be set so that it only takes the command descriptions into account (as it did before) or if there should be an additional search in the commands themselves.

The search dialog is reopened if the search is unsuccessful.

Input focus when editing user commands has been improved

from Version 2007r3n00
Module GUI

Upgrade procedure
The input focus is set to the "Name" field as default after opening the command properties (Alt+Return).

If the entry is missing in the "Command" field it is positioned onto this field. Exception: The initial value "New command" is still in the "Name" field.

Error handling when editing user commands

from Version 2007r3n00
Module GUI

Upgrade procedure
Changes to user commands in the command properties (Alt+Return) are only then accepted if the "Name" and "Command" fields have been filled in. Otherwise the "OK" button is locked.

Search in the objects found in the object selection

from Version 2007r3n00
Module GUI

In the object selection you can now search in the table in which the found objects are displayed by using the menu option [Edit], [Search in found objects].

Key combinations <Ctrl>+<W> as alternative to <Alt>+<F4>

from Version 2007r3n00
Module GUI

If <Alt>+<F4> cannot be used to close an active window, in a VNC session for example, you can close it with the new key combination <Ctrl>+<W>.

NOTE

This key combination only works in windows which have a menu bar. In standard dialogs (message windows, selection windows, etc) the <Esc> key can be used instead.

Start page and Internet Explorer 6

from Version 2007r3n01
Module GUI

If the URL of a start page is configured in the [Password definitions], the start page in the command overview is then also displayed if Internet Explorer 6 has been installed on the workstation.
Up to now Internet Explorer 7 was required.

New icons (replace) for DV1 fields

from Version 2007r3n01
Module GUI

The following new icon can be used in the fields of the type DVZ1/DVS1 with "icon:<name>":

  Name              Image

Furthermore, any individual colors can be predefined, e.g.

 [theme.abasERP.version2008_test]
gold = 255,215,0
colorToolBar = gold

(see also http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webfarben)

Color names have a resolution of up to 3 iteration levels. This has been the case since Version 2007r1.

Search word displayed for "Search word with leading digits"

from Version 2007r4n00
Module GUI

If the field "Search word with leading digits" (field 'swziffern') in [View configuration] is activated for products and series of operations, the search word instead of the identity number is displayed in the respective screens in the combo box of the symbol bar.

The behavior in the expanded state (object history) remains unchanged. Identity number (in curly brackets), search word and advanced search are displayed per object.

Two additional standard themes (design settings)

from Version 2007r4n01, 2007r3n04, 2007r2n05
Module GUI

Besides the standard theme

 - abasERP.version2007_1

there are now two additional ones for selection in 'abasgui.cfg':

 - abasERP.version2007_2 (steel blue and white)
- abasERP.version2007_3 (sunflower yellow and grey)

TIP

You can make several entries with different design settings for a client in the file 'wineks.ini'.
You can make a user-specific design selection in the login window. The GUI remembers the corresponding client entry if the login was successful, so that a renewed selection is no longer necessary when logging in the next time.

EXAMPLE

 [wineks]
server=m_erp m_erp_2 m_erp_3

 [m_erp]
host=abas
useEKSd=1
server_windir=\\abas\win
text=Client erp (Standard)

 [m_erp_2]
theme=abasERP.version2007_2
host=abas
useEKSd=1
server_windir=\\abas\win
text=Client erp (steel blue and white)

 [m_erp_3]
theme=abasERP.version2007_3
host=abas
useEKSd=1
server_windir=\\abas\win
text=Client erp (sunflower yellow and grey)

Improvement of command overview size setting

from Version 2007r4n03
Module GUI

When exiting the GUI, the size and the position of the window is saved so that a specific window is opened in the same place when the GUI is restarted.

Concerning the command overview it is now considered if a start page is to be displayed or not. If you are working with several passwords, and if a start page for the command overview is configured in one password but not the other, then in both cases the size and the position of the command overview is saved.

Adjustment of toolbar buttons for column width to field contents

from Version 2008r2n00
Module GUI

The table toolbar now contains two additional buttons:

  • Adjust the width of all table columns to the field contents.
  • Restore standard width of all table columns.

The tables in the object selection each have a symbol bar

from Version 2008r2n00
Module GUI

The symbol bars provide buttons with the following functions:

  • Adjust the width of all table columns to the field contents
  • Restore standard width of all table columns

Object selection: New button "Search in the objects found"

from Version 2008r2n00
Module GUI

Along with the menu command "Search/Search in the found objects" (Ctrl+F) there is now also a respective button in the symbol bar of the results table.

Automatic start of commands after logging in

from Version 2008r2n00
Module GUI

When the command overview appears, the GUI searches for a folder "Startup" on the topmost hierarchy level on the user side and the working group side respectively, similarly to Windows Start menu/Programs/Autostart, and executes all commands found within.

  • All commands in subfolders are also executed.
  • Only the first matching folder per screen page is taken into account.
  • Starting the command is unsynchronized. In which sequence the windows appear depends on the effort in the respective application server and can vary from start to start.

NOTE

Aswell as the language dependent folder name "Autostart", you can also use the language dependent translation of "Autostart" as the name. You will find the respective translation in the dictionary msg.cc.dic: Text 7419

Object selection: Continue searching in the found objects

from Version 2008r2n00
Module GUI

If the Ctrl key is pressed whilst clicking on the search button (magnifying glass) in the tool bar of the results table, the next occurrence of the last entered search text is searched.

NOTE

The F3 key cannot be used for this. It triggers the search for additional objects in the object selection.

Integration of commands in the user side of the command overview

from Version 2008r2n00
Module GUI

In all infosystem and database screens there are new entries in the menu bar under "Command":

In infosystems:

  • Add to command overview (with parameters)
  • Add to command overview (without parameters)

In database screens:

  • Add to command overview (object)
  • Add to command overview (screen)

By selecting one of these menu options a command which opens the respective screen is added to the user side of the command overview.

In the case of infosystems, the values of parameter fields (variable type "Control" or "Input and control") are also adopted, if required.
In database screens it can be specified if the loaded object in the just opened screen should be reloaded when executing the command.

Checking the client name when executing commands

from Version 2008r2n00
Module GUI

The Web browser integrated in the GUI can be execute abas ERP commands if specific links are clicked. The URL of the link begins with "eks:" or with a URL which is entered in wineks.ini in the [abasCommandURLs] section.

NOW the client name can also be entered in the URL (environment variable CLIENT) and as a parameter "client=" in the URL. If the GUI was started in a different client the respective error message will be displayed.

EXAMPLE

  http://abasserver:9180/Z11Intranet/erpstart?kommando=%3CKunde%3E4711%3Czeigen%3E&client=demo

Using this URL the command "<Kunde>4711<zeigen>" ("<customer>4711<view>" in English) is executed. The URL is encoded with the URL encoding (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percent-encoding or http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/URL-Kodierung). It is checked whether the GUI runs in the client demo.

Changing the working group pages in the command overview has been simplified

from Version 2008r2n01
Module GUI

The working group pages in the command overview can now be directly changed in the command overview.

This is allowed for every user who has the recently introduced field "Permission to edit working group commands" selected in the password definitions in the company master files.

View meaning of table button check fields in tool tip

from Version 2008r2n02, 2008r2n01
Module GUI

If you go over a check field in the GUI table with the mouse arrow, the meaning of this button will be displayed in the tool tip. Up to now one had to position the mouse arrow on the respective column header.

Optimal column width - set automatically

from Version 2008r2n01p01, 2008r2n02
Module GUI

The widths of all table columns are automatically optimally set after loading the data records in database screens, after clicking the start button in infosystems and after a successful search in the object selection.

The column widths adjust to the field contents and to the available space in the visible part of the table.

Set optimal column widths manually

The optimal width of the table columns can be set manually by the user any time:

  • using the new button "Optimally set the width of the table columns" in the symbol bar of the table
  • with the menu option [Column width] [Set optimally] in the menu table of the menu bar
  • with the menu option [Column width] [Set optimally] in the context menu of the table
  • by using the key combination Ctrl+F2.

GUI settings

The behavior when setting the optimal column widths can be adjusted user-specifically in the GUI settings on the "table columns" page.

When the column width is adjusted manually or automatically to the field contents, the column header is now not taken into account in the standard. Due to this more columns are visible.

  • The absolute minimum width of a column is the width of the first 3 characters of the column header.
  • Columns with check boxes and buttons behave in the same way as read-only columns with edit fields.
  • Cut off column headers are displayed with the tool tip.
  • Right-aligned and centered headers are left-aligned as soon as they can no longer be seen completely.

By activating the option "Take column header into account", you can establish the same behavior as before.

The automatic column adjustment can be seperately activated/deactivated for screens, infosystems and the object selection.

When setting the optimal column width a differentiation is made between read-only and editable columns.

Read-only columns are always adjusted to the field contents. In the case of editable columns the preferred behavior can be selected in "Handling of columns with editable fields".

The following can be selected:

  • Retain current width
  • Adjust width to field contents
  • Restore standard width

NOTE
Currently, it is not recognizable which columns are read-only in view mode in database screens. It is also not recognizable from the screen despcription. Therefore, currently all columns are regarded as read-only.

Determination of the optimal column width

The optimal column widths are created as follows:

  1. Do all columns in the standard width fit into the visible area of the table?
    Yes --> Set up standard widths --> Done
  2. Do all columns fit into the adjusted width (with the header taken into account) in the visible area of the table?
    Yes --> Point 5
  3. Only if option "Take column header into account" is deactivated:
    Do all columns fit into the adjusted width (not taking the header into account) in the visible area of the table?
    Yes --> Point 5
  4. The total of the adjusted column width respective to the option "Take column header into account" is greater than the available space.
    --> Set up adjusted widths --> Done
  5. Equally distribute remaining space from points 2 or 3 in visible table area to all columns which are still too narrow.

The menu command "Column width - Adjust to field contents (all)"

This command will continue to be available. Here the minimum column width is always set as opposed to the maximum column width. Write-protection and free space is not taken into account.

The following behavior, which differs to previously, is valid:

  • The option "Take column header into account" is evaluated.
  • The key combination is now: Alt+Ctrl+F2, up to now Alt+F2.
  • In the symbol bar of the table there is the corresponding button "Adjust width of all table columns to the field contents".

    If you click on this button and simultaneously hold down the Ctrl and Shift key, the effect of the option "Take column header into account" is reversed.

    Note:
    This also applies to the adjustment of column widths by double-clicking on the free areas of the table.

    The counterpart to this button is the button "Restore the standard width of all table columns".

Improved function "Optimal column width - set automatically"

from Version 2008r2n03, 2008r2n02
Module GUI

The widths of the table columns are then always automatically optimally set if the table is completely reloaded.

As in the following cases:

  • after loading data records in data record screens
  • after clicking on the start button in infosystems
  • after a successful search in the object selection
  • after triggering the load button in specific screens, such as for example purchase order suggestions, relocation suggestions and subcontracting suggestions.
